Rare Antique Cast Iron 1700s 1800s, 3 Legged Footed Rustic Planter, Old Kettle, Cowboy Beanpot Early Primitives Here we have a very early cast iron cauldron that has a wonderful primitive feel. Uniquely forged handle. I know the pot was passed through generation. It will make a wonderful antique piece for your home or collection. My Grandfather would take us fishing and then we would come home and he would start a fire in the pit, heated up the grease and my Grandmother would bring out a brown paper sack filled with cornmeal, flour and fish….and we couldn’t wait for him to fry them!!
